Elite Mining has been supplying shaft incline rollers to the South African Mining Industry for over 15 years. During this time Elite has introduced unique concepts to the rollers that are specifically designed to cut costs and improve safety on the mine.With a wide variety of rollers and supporting bracket arrangements available to the industry, elite is able to satisfy the needs of any type of decline installation. The rollers and brackets are manufactured in-house according to a strict quality control procedure making sure that all equipment is supplied to the highest possible standard. The high quality rollers have the benefit of being repaired either by the client with a repair machine supplied by Elite, or by Elite itself, thus providing a cost saving for the mine. The roller range includes “Side wall mounted roller assemblies” and “overhead mounted assemblie. Elite Mining designed and patented the SP roller widely used in the market today. Elite also offers its services on the mine by conducting underground inspections of the decline with full reccomendations on how to solve problems experienced with the winder rope or rollers. elite's technical team is capable of designing special rollers and arrangements for difficult situations. Elite has consulted for leading project houses such as DRA, RSV, Murray & Roberts and Shaft Sinkers.
