Standard rollers are the more commonly used rollers in the industry. These rollers are simple to install and serve the purpose of guiding the wire rope in the shaft during operation. These rollers are the most cost effective rollers. Please see our guidelines on choosing your rollers and brackets.

STD Roller
This roller is suited for declines where there is minimal rope movement down the shaft. All STD rollers are fully repairable New installations are now fitted with the short shaft (SS) to minimise the gap between the roller and the bracket. Standard sizes range from 200mm to 1200mm.

SP Roller
This roller is best suited for declines with excessive rope movement. The square shoulders restrict the rope from moving off thre roller. The SP roller is fully repairable to reduce over all running costs and is manufactured standard with the short shaft. This roller is also manufactured in the standard sizes. This roller is a patented roller.

9001 Roller
This roller is used in predominantly steeper declines and can operate successfully at high running speeds. This 9001 roller is fully repairable.
